Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles equipped with 2.0L Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle engines. A loss of communication may cause an engine shutdown.

Remedy: There is more than one involved component and calibration software. Updating the calibration software in the Transmission Control Module, Hybrid Control Processor and Auxiliary Hybrid Control Processor that changes fail safe from shut down to limp home. Dealers will update the transmission control module software, Hybrid Control Processor and Auxiliary Hybrid Control Processor, free of charge. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler, and 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. The clutch pressure plate may overheat and fracture.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the clutch assembly and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed from November 16, 2023 through July 25, 2024. Vehicles previously repaired under recall 21V-028 will need to have the new remedy completed.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. A stud on the frame assembly may puncture the fuel tank in a crash, which can result in a fuel leak.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Jeep Wrangler Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicles (PHEV). The high voltage (HV) battery pack assembly was built with incorrect fasteners to secure the 200-amp fuse, which can generate excessive heat.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the HV battery fuse, as necessary. Dealers will also inspect the battery assembly for damage and replace it, if necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 23, 2023. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. The rearview camera may fail to display the rearview image and the reverse lights may not illuminate when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Remedy: Dealers will replace the gear position sensor, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 16, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 92A.

Remedy: Owners are advised not to recharge their vehicles, and to park outside and away from structures, until they are repaired. Dealers will update the high voltage battery pack software and replace the battery pack assembly if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 7, 2024. A hybrid control processor (HCP) software error may cause the defrosting and defogging system to be inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 103, "Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems."

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Controls and Displays."

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The wiring harness for the rearview camera and the center brake light may short circuit, which can disable the rearview camera image and center brake light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Remedy: Dealers replaced the harness for the center brake light and rearview camera and/or the spare tire carrier/harness assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, until their vehicle is repaired. Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring and electric hydraulic power steering pump, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 9, 2026. On 7/25/2026, the vehicle set DTC P1128 (Closed Loop Fueling Not Achieved, Bank 1) with a steady check engine light and no drivability symptoms. I cleared the code with an OBD2 scanner. My wife had driven the vehicle to a local store and back earlier with no issues. Shortly afterward, with the vehicle loaded for a trip, she applied the brakes at the end of our driveway and the vehicle did not come to a complete stop. She described the pedal response as delayed. She proceeded onto our residential street at low speed and applied the brakes again. The brakes did not function properly. The pedal traveled to the floor with minimal braking effect and the vehicle came to a rolling stop rather than a controlled stop. She pulled to the side of the street and cycled the ignition off and on. She then drove approximately 10 to 20 feet and applied the brakes again with the same result: pedal to the floor, rolling stop only. Steering effort was normal throughout. We judged the vehicle unsafe to drive and cancelled the trip. It has not been driven since. Within 10 hours of the braking failure, the vehicle experienced a complete electrical failure. The key fob would not unlock the doors and I had to use the physical key. With the brake pedal depressed and the start button pressed, the instrument cluster illuminated for less than one second and then shut off, repeating. The vehicle would not start and remains disabled. No crash, no fire, no injury. The vehicle has open safety recall 21D (NHTSA 26V-363) listed as incomplete. All other recalls were completed at dealer service in May 2026. Current mileage is ~62,000.

Unknown issues with our jeep, not moving correctly, havent received anything for a recall for our Jeep with wiring issues

how this vehicle has not been recalled is hard to comprehend how can no one care about safety ? I purchased (8/24)this vehicle used from Carvana. Since then I have had issues first the jeep death wobble (google it we’ll know to keep general public and i am certain you) When the vehicle reaches speeds over 55mph it shakes uncontrollably feels like vehicle is going to fall into pieces on the road hard to control immediately must slow down. The vehicle then has had countless battery recalls and still no fix. I am a mailman I work very hard for my money. I was hoping to save money with gas by plugging in vehicle but because of warnings from jeep I am unable to do that. The vehicle has so many known issues the price has plummeted. The vehicle because of this no one will take on trade or cannot be sold. How a company can get away with this is hard to understand please restore my confidence for consumers please

On 2/2/26 I took my vehicle to Thomson Motor Company to have the 68c recall repair completed. On 2/5/26 my car wouldn’t start and I was stranded. My vehicle was towed back to the same repair facility. On 2/6/26 they told me that my regular battery died and had to be replaced. After researching when the hybrid battery is re-coded/reprogrammed from the recall, it causes the regular battery to die due to and system overload to the regular battery. The dealer wouldn’t take responsibility or Jeep wouldn’t take responsibility. The dealer wanted to charge me $500 so I had the local Auto Zone replace the regular battery with a new battery for $238.00. I sent in a copy of the slip from the dealership to show what they had recommended and submitted a copy of the credit card receipt to Jeep and they are refusing to cover the replacement. I would not have had to replace the regular battery if the 68c recall didn’t cause my regular battery to die due to the overload. From my understanding they should have been replaced at the same time to keep this from happening. I want to be reimbursed for replacing the battery, for the cost of the tow and for the diagnostic at Thomson Motor Center.

I am writing regarding my 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN [XXX]), which has been out of service since January 2026 as a direct result of a manufacturer safety recall involving the high-voltage battery (Safety Recall 68C). The vehicle became inoperable because of this recall-related issue and has remained at the dealership ever since. Since that time, Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Stellantis engineering have made extraordinary efforts to repair the vehicle. According to your own service records, the following components have been replaced or repaired: The original high-voltage battery A first replacement high-voltage battery that proved to be defective A second replacement high-voltage battery The Power Integrated Module (PIM) The high-voltage wiring harness Multiple engineering diagnostic sessions involving Stellantis Field Technical Representatives and engineering personnel Despite months of repairs and repeated involvement by Stellantis engineering, the vehicle has still not been restored to normal operating condition. I own a 2022 4xe, ater the 68c recall the power of the electric drive is limited. Frequent power loss occurs on highway driving during acceleration (merging onto highway or passing other cars). Despite the battery being charged up to 50% there is only 25% power available. The car is a plug in hybrid vehicle. The internal combustion engine starts in these cases with several seconds delay. During that time the vehicle does not accelerate sufficiently to safely merge onto a highway or pass other cars. The power loss happens without warning during critical drive situations like merging onto a highway or passing other cars. The driver expects a continuous level of power by the car, not a sudden power loss. This is reported by countless other drivers on all social media platforms as a consequence of the 68C recall that affects 350 000 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe. Jeep does not respond to customer complaints or requests for clarification. I would like to request all these cases be looked into, and also contacting Jeep for the new parameters put in place to protect the battery, such as battery temperature and power limits put in place to "protect" a hardware issue within a battery with software
